Life can be difficult, hard and painful. Who am I kidding? This is the first time I've written a full story about something related to an anime and manga series, and of course I had to kick it off with a new obsession of mine that is the global phenomenon known as One Piece. When Nami falls ill, the Straw Hat pirates seek medical care for her on the icy coldness of Drum Island. It happens to be the very place where one of their members, sixteen year old Devil Fruit wielder Mirai Tatsumi, grew up after being casted out of her home village shortly after gaining her power to turn into a dragon hybrid. While on the island, the team meets Tony Tony Chopper, a reindeer doctor who happened to be Mirai's mentor and the only best friend she ever had long before she met Luffy. When the old king returns to claim what was rightfully his, the six pirates must band together to protect the land and its people. As a small warning, spoilers to Drum Island are in this story!
