My Dark Side

Clarissa is a unique girl. She suffers with an extremely rare condition called Distastia, which causes her to have a "dark side." When she returns to normal, she doesn't remember anything, it was As if time had passed instantly.
She even has a name for her other side- Amelia, after her mother, who left her when she was diagnosed, which left Clarissa completely homeless.
Having a rare case of heterochromia, it makes everything creepier. One eye being light blue, and the other dark brown.
She's in love with the idea of love, however she has had a terrible history with it, and no longer desires it, as much. So,
she has decided to start off a career as a singer. Her first gig to sing is at a festival, and the audience is small. She notices a guy, staring at her. He approaches her afterward, where he finds out many of her secrets, even when Clar herself is unsure of why she tells him.
He likes her, instantly, but her past comes in the way of any feelings she may allow herself to feel. But, since she is completely homeless and he had offered his house up to her, how was she supposed to turn him down?
