17-year-old Joseph Whaley just wants to live his last semester of high school in peace. Straight Bs. No romance. No nothing. Then he's out of Providence, Rhode Island, and off to college. But unlucky for Joe, someone upstairs says otherwise.

When the world of supernatural comes knocking on his door, shoving his plans out the window, it's safe to say he's unprepared. But with the help of Venators Antonia and Jordan Myers, maybe he can be eased into the Venator life.

Then as the hunters start disappearing one after another, Joe realizes that not even they are safe from the supernatural. There're creatures that can kill Men. Wipe them from existence without anyone ever knowing. And someone's helping them.
