Valerie is a shiny Xerneas, also heir to her mother's throne.
Though these two are warring Pokémon, they combat the tradition and become friends. Can they successfully bring their groups to peace?
Meanwhile, a disaster is waiting to strike, and someone watches from the shadows...

For May, the princess of the East, and Drew, the prince of the West, it is barbaric and they want to end it to stop putting their people in danger. They suddenly meet unexpectedly because of an accident, and love at first sight made them more determined to unite the two kingdoms. But a very dangerous clan who call themselves the Shifters decided to sabotage the land. The two kingdoms try to set aside their differences and team up for their land, but that's easier said than done. The Young Dragoness, the Lunar Warrior and an arrogant soldier of brown aids them in their quest to unite the two kingdoms and defeat the Shifters before the land fall into their hands, but their path is much more exciting and dangerous than what they bargained for. 13 year old Sapphire has been living a life of secrets and no independence. The secrets are known to her and her Pokemon, her ability to talk with them and to blend in with nature when calm. Her father wants her to become a Gym Leader like him, but she rather defeat them instead. She's so desperate to prove to her father that her battles skills are serious, but she just hides in the trees trying to hide from her dad's lectures. She would just ask her friend Ruby's father, Professor Birch, for a Pokedex to go on a journey, but then her father will just stop her. So Ruby helps her get one, which also inspires him to go on a journey as well with his Pokedex. Sapphire finally leaves, but she has to lay low so her father won't catch her. There are some gym leaders who are too busy to battle, don't want to battle, and are just too tough. To make matters worse, Team Magma and Aqua are causing trouble just to save the world? One of the team's leader even wants her to join them, but why? Also, who is the ally who is most willing to help her? For Sapphire, she will face many foes, family, and friends, old and new, on her journey, pushing her past her limits for power. Can she do it? This story that I've made is a huge collaboration of a man in VERY ancient times in a world of Pokémon, serving under a leader. Along with serving with his leader, he is accompanied by his four friends, that he has grown to bring on a brotherly/sisterly bond (Or is it?) In this story, humans are rare to find, but are very powerful, especially when chosen to become a general. Pokémon are able to live up to a thousand years, despite what the eyes may show. But when he starts to forget his past, and his parents in an event that changed this mans life, what will become of his future? That's all Avis wishes for, because it's nearly impossible to find any semblance of peace in this midst of war and chaos. To him, that's staying alone; staying out of others' business, and for the first seventeen years of his life, he's done that pretty well. § Avis can only hide in the shadow of his twin brother's strength, stranded in a country ravaged by war and destruction--and he tries to live his life in the darkness peacefully.
