Being invisible has its perks, but it also has its disadvantages. Being invisible can be amazing, but it can also cause your demise.

For Reagan Amilia Murdock her life is as unique as it can get.

Her mother can read minds. Her father can conjure up anything from any thought in his mind. Her older brother has the strength of 1000 bulls pushing at one object. His twin, her older sister, can make anyone do anything with just one look. And her little sister can run as fast as the wind, while still looking amazing.

Then there's Reagan. She can turn invisible. With great power comes great responsibility. Basketball consumes her mind, but one big change consumes everything.

She gains and loses, but can Reagan overcome all of her losses and find it within herself to survive. You'll have to read to find out.

This story is back on Wattpad! ** Highest rank: #2 in superheroine ** "It's a lovely ending to the best superhero book I have ever read." - @Allan5313 "No way as this is the best story I have read on this app . . .somebody said you remind them of JK Rowling. After reading that chapter I can see why."- @SteveWilliams064 If you are looking for more, Power Play (book 2 - complete) and Deconstruction (book 3 - in progress) of the Sapphire Angel saga are live on Substack at https://cjstone.substack.com. When Beth finally lucks into opening the box one Halloween night, she sets off a tragic chain of events that puts her fiancé at death's door, and imbues Beth with fantastic powers. This is all too reminiscent of the comic books her fiancé reads - and she mocks. The idea of a hero arising from tragedy is all too cliche for Beth Harper. But faced with a dying fiancé, she races to find a cure and to rescue not just her fiancé, but one of her closest friends who has gone missing. To save both of them, she needs to stop a sinister group of men who are conducting experiments on young people in the city. If she fails, she'll lose not only those close to her, but herself. This is the debut novel about Sapphire Angel, a female superhero.

"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. But most of us are Heroes at Heart. (Based on a writing prompt / story request by tumblr user "fallingivy")
