Stephanie Hanson is a normal teenager. She's 15, hates school for no reason other than having to get up early, and generally skips breakfast because she has to help her little sister get ready for kindergarten. She blends in. She doesn't even raise her head when the school bullies start putting on a show starring some poor teen who stuck out just a little too much that day.
