Our Promise, Our Future
After winning the Kalos League and keeping their promise, Ash and Serena continue their journey together. From new regions, to new Pokemon, to new battles and new experiences. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story. I don't know how many chapters I'll write, but I'll try to make it long enough to be considered a good read. I do know that I don't have an uploading schedule, so new chapters will most likely appear at random. I hope you'll all enjoy my first attempt at a multi-chapter Pokemon story. Fair warning though. Ash Ketchum has just arrived at Pallet Town after coming back from Kalos he went on a 3 month long journey around Kanto and Johto gathering his old Pokemon that he's either released or left to be trained and visiting the Kingdom of Rota but after arriving back at his home town he gets a nasty surprise. Now Betrayed and Disowned by his own mother and friends he gathers all his pokemon he runs away to a whole new region. Will he be able to move on and forget the betrayal ? Or more importantly. I was born in Hoenn, when my parents died I got adopted by their friend Professor Sycamore, now I live in Lumiose City. I usually assist the Professor with his day to day tasks, but now that I'm getting older it might be time to go off on my own adventure. He studies Pokémon moves, and is married to Professor Burnet. "A girl. She came in the middle of my battle and took the wild Noivern. What was I supposed to do about it, Professor?" I sighed, running my hand through my hair. "A girl you say. Hmm. That does sound mysterious. Was she alone?" Professor Burnet questioned. "She had a day form Lycanroc with her and a bookbag with I assume more Pokemon in," I explained. I was so confused. What had I just witnessed back there? "That's interesting. Alone with a Lycanroc and other Pokemon, protecting a Noivern. I think we need to speak with Principal Oak," Kukui stated. -------------------- Most of the chapters will be less than 1,000 words.
