What if I told you there was a whole other secret world out there that you just couldn't see? I mean such tales of mermaids, vampires, fairies, elves and other creatures had to come from somewhere didn't they? What if I told you I know the origin of where these so-called tales come from, would you believe me? Would you believe me if I told you that the people from this secret world know all about us yet we don't even know their world exists?
You may be curious as to how I know about all this. It's a long story but it starts with a guy named Thomas Heisenberg. A very skilled and dangerous person who is sent on a mission to grab and bring back a woman named Helena from our world. Who is also a very dangerous person who is not from our world but is causing chaos on Earth. Things don't really go as planned though. Instead of grabbing Helena he grabs me. The thing is, people from his world want nothing to do with people from our world. They will not hesitate in striking down someone seen as a threat and humans from our world are seen as just that. Even better yet for some unknown reason I am unable to travel across back to my world. It ends up being that the only way that Thomas can protect me and prevent me from being killed all because of his mistake, is to marry me before people from his world can figure out I am not one of them. As I said it's a long story and that is just the start of it all...

Nico has lived with that term all his life. Psychopath. He knew it was muttered behind his back when he walked through school. Thats how the world saw him. The boy who hears voices, the guy who talks to himself. Everyone defined him by his mental illness, and no one had ever bothered to know him. The word wasn't even accurate. Having schizophrenia was a pain sometimes, but it didn't mean Nico was crazy, even if the voices told him he was. The real ones, and the ones in his mind. The only person he could ever consider a friend would be his psychologist (aka his therapist), Jenny, who he had grown a strong connection with over the 4 years he had been going to see her. He didn't trust anyone else. Nico knew that no one would look past it all like she does. That is, until Will Solace enters the picture, the happy go lucky college student striving to be a therapist. What could go wrong? . This is a solangelo fan fiction and will have swearing, mental illnesses and there may be triggering moments that will have warnings. I will hopefully capture Nico's point of view accurately, and what he his going through, but I have never experienced schizophrenia so it may not be perfect. . Kinda going through editing? BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. Part 1: Today was supposed to be my fairytale day. My perfect wedding day. I made my way to David, he took my hand in his, walking us closer to the long faced man who would be marrying us. The officiant started, greeting the room full of all my family, all of David's family. Going through the first reading easily. Giving their peace on the joy of marriages, it was bland, but acceptable. Moving along, the officiant announced in a loud voice, "If anyone here knows of any reason why these two should not be lawfully wed, let them speak now, or forever hold their peace." The officiant boomed over the crowd. I was caught off guard. This part was supposed to be just a formality, just a box to tick. No one was supposed to say anything. The world started to go in slow motion as Verity moved behind me a flicker in the corner of my vision. "David, I can't hide anymore." He said. As David's eyes went from me, to Verity, filled with concern. David looked over my head at Verity while he was holding my hands in his. I heard the crowd gasp, before everyone started to whisper. David dropped my hands. The whispers increased in intensity. Making the room sound like it was full of hissing snakes. David's attention wasn't anywhere near me. I looked up to see him looking over my head at my brother. With a look I had thought he had saved just for me, my heart breaking as my fairy tale became a nightmare. Monsters and mythical creatures are real. They are very real indeed, as well as magic. We just can't see it... There is an island on our world, one where they roam and have their own sophisticated society, mostly keeping to themselves. Mostly. One of these creatures is named Bianca. She has to travel to where the humans live, that's where she gets her food. One day, she goes in for the kill like normal, but can't continue. On the way home, she kept asking herself over and over again, "Why couldn't I kill him?" After realizing she has fallen for him, she returns to her hunting spot. Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to!
