"What do you want from me? I don't talk to psychopaths." I asked, the cold tone that I had adopted managed to escape me as I looked him in his stupid green eyes.
"I can see why you didn't transfer to Candor, you're a good liar." Peter said as the corners of his mouth tilted up ever so slightly.
I blew hot steamy air from my flared nostrils as I turned away from him. I didn't understand how he could be so confusing, he was so annoying that he made me want to jump into the chasm, but he was so kind to me that it made me want to stay.

JJ Matthews didn't have an easy childhood, and for that she was angry. She wanted to be the person who would have saved her so it's no surprise that she got Dauntless on her aptitude test.
She doesn't expect to meet someone so much unlike herself in Dauntless initiation, at first the two butt heads, but then one night changes everything.

This is a backstory for Eric. I've taken bits and pieces from the Divergent series and also the movie. I also used the book about Four that recently came out. It takes you through his journey through initiation on in to leadership. He also develops a love interest that isn't in either the books or the movie. I wanted him to have a softer side that only she'll see. I can't focus on anything else though; Peter's eyes are too intense. They're like green lasers burning into my cerulean sea irises, like the sun reaching through a lens to start a fire. "Jax." I tear my eyes away. "Four told me you heard," I blurt out. "What I said in my fear landscape." "I did," Peter confirms. I squeeze my eyes shut and wait for the storm to pass. "Why do you seem so scared? Do I scare you, Jax?" Excerpt from Chapter 3: I threw my weapon for a warpstrike, but he managed to dodge it causing me to warp back down with my back turned to him. After landing, I quickly turned around and blocked his attack with my sword. We stood eye to eye trying to break the other. However, I was clearly struggling while he looked like he was barely trying. He chuckled and parried me with ease. I slipped and nearly fell back until I felt a hand wrap around my waist. Gladio pulled me forward until I was on my feet and pressed against his hot body. "I have to admit you are pretty tough," he said seductively, "I like a woman who can take care of herself," I became flustered and quickly pushed him away, "I'm not done with you, yet!" Once I was free I summoned my sword and went to attack him while he was caught off guard, but he quickly dodged me again and this time I felt his fingers wrap tightly around my wrist. He pulled me to face him and then got close enough to me that I was leaning against the edge of the cliff. The action was so quick he might has well have slammed me into the jagged rock. As painful as it was I was distracted by him. He had my arm held up on one side of my head like he was pinning me. His other hand was placed on the cliff on the other side of my head and he leaned over above me, I was intimidated, but not out of fear. He spoke in that gruff tone again, but this time he was close enough to my ear that I could feel his warm breath as he talked, "Oh, I think you are, sweetheart."مكتمِلة
Four x reader (Divergent)
{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong?
