The 1000 Days of You Series follows the lives of Carter Corrington - the protagonist and Madison Campbell. In this 3 part book series , beginning with "New York" - Carter Corrington is exiled to New York where he shuts himself to the world and lets his existence be engulfed by his past mistakes and inner demons. Along comes the new neighbor, Madison "Maddie" Campbell who moves into his cousin (and only friend in New York) Telle's apartment across the hall. Maddie is fun, bubbly and full of life. An unlikely friendship develops between the two. Group dynamics between the main characters and their friends also take an interesting turn as Carter and Madison become friends. As the two main characters grow closer, they develop a stronger bond, help each other through deep seeded issues, become each others confidants and fall in love without realizing it.
