The man stood silently, with a faint yet serene smile upon his lips. Dark black locks flowed in the wind that breathed freshness into the land holding the graves of fallen comrades; the protectors of humanity. 

Only a select few knew that the powerful and respected head of the demon slayer corps was just a frail and sickly man - bound to die bearing the weight of the sins committed by the stain of their family tree. 

He hummed, staring with vacant eyes towards the cherry blossoms that decorated the solemn place of rest. 

"Who knows," There was no questioning it. "One thing's for certain." 

"She'll bring a ripple of change throughout the corps. Perhaps we'll finally be able to eliminate him with her here." 

For once since the start of this cycle of death and suffering; things were changing. And the Ubuyashiki family knew that things would only turn in their favour. They sensed it.

Tomioka Giyuu, was diagnosed with a lung disease at a young age, Hanahaki, but the fact is that it had the opposite effect, it wouldn't let him live any feelings in his life. So to replace the killing flowers on his lungs. The doctor placed one Blue Spider Lily's on each lung inside his arteries and ribs with the objective to heal him, which by the time got connected to his heart, making his blood blue, and anyone who drank it could be easily healed from a disease. (Everything happened just fine in Demon slayer until Rengoku's dead) When Rengoku was about to die, he murmured that he wished Tomioka was right there. Akaza informed Muzan as fastest he could.
