For Rowan Khan, three days have passed since he left Earth. For everyone else, it's been almost three decades.

27-year-old journalist Rowan Khan is ecstatic when he's assigned to visit Chronos I-97, the planet home to the newest human settlement outside of the Milky Way. When his ship the STS Ramses flies into a wormhole, however, he and his fellow passengers are lost and assumed dead.

29 years later, STS Ramses crashes onto Chronos I-97's surface, leaving 24-year-old head researcher Dr. Solomon Nystrom and his colleagues perplexed. Even stranger, no one on the ship seems to have aged a day.

They discover that a bizarre virus has infected all the ship's passengers, leaving them with nearly vampire-like traits and tendencies.

As Rowan and Solomon set out to uncover just what conspired aboard the STS Ramses, mystery unfolds, romance blooms, and they acquire knowledge they may have been better off without.
