Copycat is back-and this time no one will get in his way again.
Theo Barbot, a sculptor infatuated with Paris' famous superhero-Ladybug-will stop at nothing to get his love reciprocated. For months he follows Paris' other beloved superhero-Cat Noir-and learns three things about the cat:
1-Cat Noir is Adrien Agreste, son of famous fashion designer Gabriel Agreste.
2-Ladybug and Cat Noir are not a couple, despite what the cat claimed.
3-Cat Noir visits a certain baker's daughter every night, whom he suspects knows Ladybug's secret identity.
During an akuma attack, Theo follows and spies on them, witnessing as Cat Noir gives Ladybug a rose-another pathetic attempt at romance-and is surprised when she accepts it.
Theo is once again akumatized into Copycat, with even stronger powers than before, and he kidnaps Marinette and refuses to let her go until she gives up Ladybug's secret identity.
[Story is told in 'Then & Now' and switches back and forth between past and present time]
