Facets, Book 1: What Is And What Should Never Be
Ratchet and Clank are back on Fastoon, about a year after the events in the game "Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time", and are studying the ruins and looking into lombax culture. They soon discover a research laboratory, containing an ancient portal which sends them careening into an alternate parallel dimension - a place where the normal conventions of behavior, morality, etc. are flipped on their heads, and history has played out somewhat differently. Here they encounter characters who are the opposites of what they are in their own universe, and must deal with each as a result. It will be the beginning of an emotional roller coaster ride for the two heroes! This is the first of what will be a multi-story arc, as Ratchet and Clank stumble through several dimensions while trying to find their way home! PLEASE NOTE: This story has some violence in it, but no gore. There is also a tiny amount of body horror as well as a little cursing. But I hope you'll stay with the story through to the end...I expect you'll be glad you did! With all the tech and augmentation, is anyone really surprised that humans aren't the only things kicking around? Elves, orcs, minotaurs, dragons, and more roam the streets of Night City alongside humans. Hybrids are common, but human hybrids are rare. This is thanks to the fact that humans are either incompatible or hyper compatible with other species. Meaning that when humans mate with someone from another species they either won't be able to have children, or the children will either be human or their other parent's species. So human hybrids are stupid rare.

He already hates his job here, and adding fuel to that fire is all the business men that he has to clean up after, at the end of every shift. His perspective starts to change, however, when Pomni - A new employee at C&A - starts showing up at the coffee shop. He totally won't admit it - but between you and me......
