Link and Zelda are running for their lives when the Calamity suddenly strikes. 
Link is badly wounded and Zelda is left alone as she decides she must take the Master Sword back to the Deku Tree.

But from now on everything seems to go wrong, because in addition to the extinction of all life in all of Hyrule, Zelda also falls into Ganon's trap, which she could not have foreseen.
