Meet Yugenie Zoi Slora ang nag-iisang babaeng anak ng pamilya Slora. Nang ipinanganak si Yugenie ay laking tuwa ng pamilya niya lalong lalo na ang kanyang lola. Dahil may kasabihan ang angkan ng mga Slora na ma swerte ang pamilyang may babaeng anak.
Maliit palang si Yugeni ay namulat na siya sa karangyaan ng kanilang pamilya. Nang tumuntong siya sa tatlong taon gulang ay napagpasiyahan ng kanyang lola na kunin siya upang sanayin at tumutol dito ang magulang ni Yugenie ngunit wala silang nagawa.
Lumipas ang limang taon ay napalapit at napamahal si Yune sa kanyang lola tinuring narin niya ito na parang totoong ina.
Sa sampung taong nakasama ni Yune ang kanyang lola ay naranasan niya ang simpling pamumuhay, maraming mga bagay siyang natutunan, ngunit isang araw biglang gumuho ang kanyang mundo ng malaman niyang inataki sa puso ang kanyang lola at ito ang dahilan na ikinamatay nito.

Dahil dito ay tumutol siya pero hindi pumayag ang kanyang mga magulang nagmatigas si Yugenie at nagpasyahan niyang umalis sa kanila upang hindi matuloy na ipagkasundo siya at mag-isang tinahak ang kaniyang mga mithiin at pangarap sa buhay.
