The Marauders were always looking for trouble, but now that they have graduated, it's time to put that habit behind. A war has come to Britain, and Dumbledore has recruited them to fight in the the Order of the Phoenix.
James has finally gotten the girl of his dreams. Remus has suddenly acquired enormous responsibility. Sirius has gotten his heart broken for the first time. Peter has suddenly had his eyes opened.
The four men have been getting shocking news one after another. A missing-possibly dead-brother, or a traitor amongst them.
If they were to win this war, sacrifices had to be made, and certain people were going to come out of it alive but twisted.
