Cassidy Colonel was seventeen years old and in her senior year when it happened, an accident that rocked a town, claimed the lives of three friends and left her alone and in limbo. It's been eighteen months, some presume she is in heaven, others believe she is still with us, lost and waiting on a miracle to return home to them. Sarah Cooper is new to town, unaware of the tragedy that still haunts it and completely devoted to her grandmother whom she has come to live with and care for. At nineteen Sarah is lost and unsure of what to do next with her life. It is only when Sarah's Grams moves into the old age facility in the small town that Sarah and Cassidy's existences collide. Will Cassidy ever make it home? Will Sarah ever realise she is talking to the girl the whole town has presumed dead? Have they met before? Is Sarah the key to freedom? Can Cassidy reclaim her life...and love? All I know is there is love in limbo and these two are headed straight for it .... but what will be on the other side waiting for them?. *I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION FOR THIS BOOK TO BE COPIED, OR ADAPTED ON THIS PLATFORM, OR ANY OTHER, BY ANYONE ELSE* ***Completed January 2022

Bree doesn't do love anymore. Not since the accident. Not since the life she built was taken from her in the quiet blink of a moment. Now she keeps things simple. Drinks too much. Sleeps with women who don't ask questions. Keeps her heart buried somewhere between a barstool and the back porch. Then Harper comes back. The girl from summers past. The one who knew her before the world got sharp. Bree tells herself it's nothing. Just a ghost of a friendship. A familiar face passing through. But something's shifting. And the more she tries to ignore it... the more it demands to be seen. Some wounds don't scar over. Some hearts don't stay buried.
