Name? Akiko. It originates from Japan- a term meaning autumn's child; bright child, or glistening child. A symbol of hope that could one day unite the people from across the world who allowed darkness and destruction to cloud their judgments. 

The humanoids are on their last leg of hope. Their blatant ignorance is causing Mother Gaia to diminish, yet you come to me on their behalf to seek assistance. You want me to forgive them and grant you a means to save your world- a world that has no significance to you. I would have asked you for your reasoning behind such a feeling, but I see your aura. Remember this child; You are not of this earth.

One could say it is because he sees the best and the worst in people. The storyline took a different route after he got abducted by a dreaded terrorist sect during his NYSC program in Borno State, Nigeria (a program for Nigerian citizens, after they graduate from an higher institution). A lot began to unfold afterwards, he soon discovered that he is just the tip of the iceberg in an entire world filled with principal actors. Time soon made the readers understand that there are a lot of higher forces at play in this novel; humans with godlike technologies and powers out of this world.
