When Izuku Midoriya was born his mom Inko noticed that he was born with a set of four small angel wings with a spot for a other set of two more. She was curious if that was his Quirk.

Because of this he tried everything he could think of to try make his mom's or dad's quirks work but absolutely nothing did. As he was slowly pushed away by everyone except for his mother, he had no one, no friends or anything, because of this he gained the hobby of drawing to help him cope with the loneliness. Years passed by and he finally accepted that he was quirkless and because of that everyone all but increased in the bullying making Izuku even more isolated.
