Vera is a young archaeologist with a determination to prove herself in the field. While on a dig with her father, they happen to stumble across an ancient ruin that releases a jinn through a doorway between the worlds. Out of naivety and sympathy, Vera befriends the ancient creature only to realize the dark, nightmarish truth behind classic fairy tales of the genie. The jinn's fascination with her quickly turns into dangerous obsession.

Soon mangled bodies begin turning up all over desert and Vera has no clue how to stop it. When the jinn begins to posses her friends and threaten their deaths, Vera finds herself desperate to end the madness.All Rights Reserved

It can also be spelled djinn which is the Romanized version. I chose to go with the more traditional version. Cover by my dear friend who did it for me. Their art skills are absolutely impeccable! A message to all my readers: This story has many characters that are ignorant, bigoted and downright cruel to our main character. I wanted to have everyone understand that these actions are extreme examples of homophobia, and that, generally, it is far more subtle.
