Five hundred years ago, the Moon Goddess created the werewolves, as many other Gods had also created a race of their own. She gave them a gift...a fated mate. This was someone they would recognize immediately as their one and only. Over the years, the human side got greedy and entitled, rejecting this gift and deciding to choose their own mate instead. This angered the Moon Goddess, so in retribution she revoked this gift, giving them the freedom to choose for themselves. What the werewolves didn't know, was that it came with a price.
