Luna(tic) (Marauders Era)

Ever since Luna Everleigh was little, she's been called crazy. Mad. Lunatic. And she's never had to wonder why. She knows no one else can see her best friend. Knows her head has never worked quite the way everyone else's seems to. Knows that what was once dismissed as a child's overactive imagination has turned into something less innocent and Luna has been paying the price for the world's judgement of it for years.

So when Albus Dumbledore comes to offer Luna a place at Hogwarts, she sees it for what it is: a chance to start over in a school that hasn't learned all the clever, cruel nicknames she's spent years wishing she could forget.
