"Why won't you just leave me alone," Jace growled out, his glare set directly on me. I looked down at my beat up Converse to avoid his intense glare. "Well, you've peaked my interest. I'm just trying to be nice," I whispered the last part out. Jace took my chin between his fingers and lifted my head up so I was forced to look at him. "Do us both a favor," he said, his voice low, "and leave me alone." Riley never liked going to the laundromat, or going anywhere for that matter. She would much rather lay curled up in bed with a good book and pizza than go out and socialize, that is until she meets mysterious Jace who just moved into town and comes off as the jerkiest person in history. Not to mention he's incredibly hot. Through her weekly visits Riley tries to break him out of his shell, there's only one problem. He wants nothing to do with her. Will Riley be able to break Jace' hard exterior, or will his attitude get them both hurt in the end. Copyright © 2015 by OhShiz_It'sKris

"Because, I don't care what I have to do, I am not letting you get hurt. You and Wren are my top priority, before my own safety. So, you are not going to die. You are going to live because...I love you." I adjust my entire body to face him head on. "I hate you." ... Nothing is worse than an overconfident asshole. At least, not to Raven, being a single mom is hard enough. Unfortunately for her, the term 'asshole' barely begins to describe her coworker. Jay Forester is conceited, breathes out an insult with every breath, and vindictive for no apparent reason. Every moment spent with him pushes Raven closer to her whits end, and she doesn't even know the whole story yet. But then again, neither does he.
