Yumiko Carter, an elementary teacher, discovered that she was going to be a mother to her long time boyfriend's child, but the jerk didn't want anything to do with them. Despite the shattered dreams she had for a beautiful family she never had in her childhood, she braced herself for her unborn. Consequently, she had no choice but to move back to her little town as the school she worked for was opposed to premarital pregnancy.
Five years later, she was going to pick up her child from school when she heard the little one say, "See you tomorrow, daddy!" Her world almost fell apart with just the mere idea of him coming back to their lives after all that they had suffered through. She was going to protect her child from the asshole.
But it wasn't him. He wasn't Greg.
Greg wasn't a doctor, wasn't he?
they had recently broke up before he move to berlin to take on the job of a engineer, he had wanted her to move with him but she refused to and said it was over, she had just finish her studies to become a doctor and was planning on opening up her own community hospital, she didn't want to move for it was her dream and she wasn't going to fulfill her dreams no where else but in her town, while there in Berlin he met someone and soon got married and he and his wife adopted a son, after the contract of six years were up he decided to move back to Philadelphia and start up his own engineer company,
