Anyways, all these characters belong to Shannon Messenger (lovely author of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series) and are NOT ours.
This story is mainly about Sokeefe, but there will be a few match-ups along the way.

Pain coursed through her veins like a venom, corrupting her soul and setting her insides on fire. Searing flames shot through her arms, scorching her bonds to a crisp. Without warning, the ball of fire in flew from his hand and set the floor ablaze. A seed of desperation planted itself in the pits of my stomach, and anxiety was feeding it life. The cerulean inferno rose at his command, drawing closer and closer. She was trapped. Her shrill shriek reverberated throughout the musty cavern, but her captors merely sneered.
