Monsters have finally been freed from the Underground.
Mettaton has pursued his dreams of becoming a star to humans, but it isn't as wonderful as he expected. Humans are a hard crowd to please, and they're all still cautious around monsters.
When a secret about Mettaton is leaked, what will he do to recover? Will he be stuck in an awful place forever, or will he be able to recover and become the shining star he's always wanted to be?

Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really?
