Melody was a simple girl who led a not very extraordinary life. So of course she was completely bewildered to find that fantasy animals like dragons were in existence. More importantly, that a band of crazy people on a large rock called Burke were training them. 
But now that she's found them the Vikings in that inhabit Burke won't let her leave. 
On top of all of that a looming evil by the name of Malum is threatening this unbelievable civilization. 
Talk about ridiculous.
