Falling. You fall constantly throughout your life whether it's physical or emotional. Falling down after your first steps. Falling in gym class. Falling in love. Falling from your trivial expectations for yourself. The idea of falling used to excite the adrenaline junkie in my core and ignite me in a way I could never explain. But now the word falling means something different. I fell for him. I fell for him and there's nothing I can do about it. Now he consumes my thoughts, hopes, dreams, and nightmares. The first time I saw him I should have run. From his dirty blonde hair to his blue eyes, much like the swirling sky during a thunderstorm. I wish I would have known that the storm came with lightning striking me down to the earth. Disguised as falling gracefully, it was a deadly descent. His lean body told a story I was willing to give anything just to get another page too. Caleb was everything I didn't need with a pull that was unfathomable as he tore down every wall I fortified for protection.
