Der 16 jährige Leo Hunter (ausgesprochen engl. Lio) besitzt die unglaubliche Fähigkeit die Zeit anzuhalten. Biologische Vorgänge (Altern, wachsen, usw.) gelten bei ihm nicht. Bei seinem Körper gelten nur physikalische Vorgänge (Schwerkraft, Oben und Unten, fallen, usw.), außer ein Vorgang: die Veränderung der Zeit. Zusammen mit seinem Bruder und sehr intelligentem Wissenschaftler Reamon versucht er mithilfe dieser Fähigkeit die Welt ein Stück besser zu machen.
