Lord Miraz smiles as he walks towards me, but his eyes burn with fury when he grabs my face and spits out, "Where has he gone?"
"You have already lost old man." My eyes shine with defiance as his smile is replaced with an enraged grimace at my reply. Suddenly my eyesight goes white. I am on my knees and I realise he has struck me.
My face burns as I am pulled back up onto my feet, "Throw her in a cell for now."
"I will tell the court what you have done!" I yell back at him as the soldier leads me away.
He laughs at me, "Ah, but the only people you will see next are the soldiers I will task with your execution."

Karisa and Caspian have been best friends practically since the day she arrived at the Telmarine castle. They have studied together under Doctor Cornelius, played together, taken their riding lessons together, and even secretly trained together, but everything changes the night Miraz's heir is born.
Caspian steals away in the middle of the night, and Karisa is captured in the struggle. While Karisa must find her way back to him, Caspian is tasked with building an army that can take back Narnia, and nothing will stop either of them from succeeding.
Follow Karisa in her struggles, not only in getting back to her friend, but in the secrets she has kept all her life and the gruesome battle that will ensue to defeat the Telmarines and return Narnia to its rightful people.
