"Why do you enjoy playing so much?" His green eyes were curious as his hand softly brushed over mine above the keys.

"Everyone has something that they were born to do. You really like psychology; you're good at reading people, something that is very admirable. Now, I like to make up stories, but unfortunately, I'm not very good at it. I lack the effort needed for detail. But I am a word nerd. I like to find new synonyms for simple words. Sad is one of my favorites." 

I let my hair fall in my face so that he wouldn't be able to see how embarrassed I was. 

"Dejected, despairing, doleful, gloomy, grief-stricken, hurting, languishing, lugubrious, somber; they all mean the same thing. It's fascinating really. Possessing this trait, I've found, comes in handy with songwriting, which is what I was born to do. And I think that the piano makes the most beautiful sound to ever grace this earth."

"I beg to differ."

I was completely shocked, as well as offended but he stopped me before I could deny his statement.

"I think that your voice is the most melodic thing I've ever heard."
