Acting Under False Pretenses

Nicholas Parker isn't who he says he is. I mean, is anyone?
In a country ruled by a monarchy, the last thing you'd expect is for the royals to be hated, despised even, by the public. But that's exactly what's going on, and Nicholas has had enough. He wants to get rid of the silly rules that have kept him shielded from the public, and enter their reality for himself. After all, no one will know he's a prince. What can go wrong?
Grayson Matthews is lonely.
He's a mopey, dreary, storm cloud gray mess, and everybody knows it. He'd been that way ever since his s/o, the love of his life, moved to the States and cheated on him. Okay well, maybe since before then, because he'd always been pessimistic. But rest assured, it had gotten worse.
The 16 year old is longing for a friend, and maybe more, but he isn't quick to trust. But when he meets Nicholas, things might start to look up for him, his mood, and his life in general.
