Story description:
This is NOT your typical PMD. If your not familiar with a PMD, that stands for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
This story is not about a human turned Pokemon, nor is it about saving the world from the negativity of the world. This story is about a small, purple ringed Umbreon with unusual abilities.
If you're a stickler about Pokemon logistics, and you don't like it when Pokemon use moves that are physically impossible according to the Pokemon games, you should not read.
Also, not all Pokemon moves will be entirely the same as in the games.
And finally, there is the existence of magic besides Pokemon moves in this story.
If you are content with Pokemon staying as it is, then do not read this story.
However, if you like Pokemon, magic, mystery, discovery, discovering ones past, recovering lost memories, supernatural Pokemon, robots, adventure, and most of all, Pokemon (yes I know I've already said that), then by all means, read to your heart's content.

It hasn't been an easy journey, but the residents of the region have proven once again that they are stronger than their weaknesses. They have rebuilt and everything seems to be going right once more. Until one gym leader begins to have these...dreams. Dreams that aren't really dreams. Visions of a different time and a different life altogether. At about the same time, earthquakes begin to rip across the region, having no explainable source or epicenter. They appear to be caused by some kind of unnatural being. And this is all extraordinary timing for our heroes to converge on the city for a brief competition; featuring some of the greatest competitors from around the world. Naturally, that includes one particular trainer and performer. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Legacy Of Darkness
(Warning: Spoilers for some of the mystery dungeon games) What if one day you turned into a Pokémon and tasked with saving the world? Meet Flare, your average sarcastic and cautious high-school student. He certainly doesn't feel or look like the hero of this story, but there might be more than he let's on. One day, Flare wakes up on a beach as a Cyndaquil, having no memory of his life prior to this. The last thing he remembered was disintegrating into golden dust and getting transported through a purple vortex While he tries to find out why he was turned into a Pokémon, a Treecko named Florian befriends him. Florian invites Flare to start a rescue team with him, with no other options, Flare accepts, and together, they form a rescue team to help others in need. They discover lost lands, uncover hidden treasures, and go on one-of-a-kind adventures. However, there are dark secrets to unravel, Flare has to keep his past as a human a secret, and on top of that, a group is out, looking for him. All Flare wants to do is get back home, but he might make some new friends and save the world along the way. (This story contains elements from every Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and is my first attempt at writing, so don't expect flawless work) I do not own Pokémon Characters are made using Gacha Life 2 because I suck at drawing I also PURPOSELY made some parts in the story cringey because in the actual Pmd games, the characters act childish at times (I just wanted to make that clear)
The Conductor
The son of a world-famous musician roams the land after abandoning his ruined home, aspiring to carry on the dreams of his family. With a bag over his shoulder and guitar in his back, Tempest, a young Jolteon, begins to travel the world, stumbling across pokemon that he'll come to call friends along his journey. One in particular, a shy, quiet Vaporeon, with a similar past, latched onto him, and the two began to grow close, slowly uncovering each other's secrets and breaking each other out of their reclusive shells. Will the brutality of the real world tear them apart, or will their relationship be able to flourish, rising above the harshness of the reality? This is a story written after being inspired by many others. With no intention to copy from other stories, this intricate world has been created for a sweet, adventure-filled, action-packed story, with a touch of romance, exploring the difficulties of life on the run and touching on a multitude of themes. Pokémon walk and move as they normally would, with the exception of some quadrupeds preferring to move as bipedal. The cover art is done by myself! It's not great, but I wanted to at least do something cute and original for my story! Last but not least, interactions are greatly appreciated. I love reading insightful comments and interacting with the people who enjoy my story, or even getting feedback, as I'm very new to this and somewhat self conscious about it, but I aim to grow with time. Getting introduced to Shadow Pokémon, Michael embarks on a journey to save the professor. Furthermore, it has now become Michael's job to put an end to Chiper's evil plans. Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth.
