My job is to take your soul when you're finished with it.
That's it.
It sounds easy enough and it should be. I haven't been doing this for a long time, but I know the drill. I read my list, I find the person, they die, I take the soul so it can move on. It's supposed to be simple, but the last girl on my list, Julia, didn't die. She took her last breath and then took another one. I'm not sure what this is about. All I know is Death will be more than mad at me if I don't get Julia's soul to it soon. Even if I have to cause her death myself...
No one cheats death and gets away with it.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is move on, that's what Cassedy has always been told. But when she 'dies', she isn't ready to go.
