Everyone knows that Nightmare has many secrets. As should be expected with the King of Negativity, who has been alive for over 700 years but nobody is stupid enough to go and try to dig them up...right?
So, when the newest member of Nightmare's gang; Cross, stumbles upon a life sized doll in one of the old towers of the castle, he doesn't know what to do...
Something is just so off about it.

Break the cycle
The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt. Dream on the other hand loves his brother dearly and would accept him no matter what happens. But what will happen if the two opposite twins fall for exact same skeleton? Who will she choose? The Council makes a deal with the fabled God Dream for his assistance in defeating his tyrant God twin, Nightmare. However, Dream will not help them for free; he locks eyes with Cross, and decides he wants him in exchange for the war victory. It's an easy decision, is it not? There's just one problem with this arrangement: Cross is a spy, sent by Nightmare himself. And Nightmare is absolutely unforgiving of traitors. But he cannot offend Dream, for he too is an Immortal. He best be, as he ran an entire kingdom of misery and suffering just out of reach from the universe's nosey "Saviors." Cross had a difficult time deciphering his master's intentions. One may argue that he had no choice in being the ravenous king he is now, but that life had forced him down the path long ago for the sake of feeding. That's what this is all for after all.
