I just realised that in Glitchtale a grey soul means they've lost all their power from their soul. Then I realised it fits the story perfectly

(DISCONTINUED) 'A young girl has just been living her life normally; until she turned thirteen--the age where you can find your soulmate. That was when this young girl and their parents--found out that her eyes not only changed colour, but she also had a tattoo/soulmark.' 'For years humans have been born with the ability to find their soulmates by eye colour. The first emotion you feel when you turn thirteen is the emotion that causes your eyes to change to your soulmate's.' Determination ~ The Souls
The monster family are growing closer, and everything is starting to get better. Until it all seems to fall apart again. Chara's past is revealed and the monsters and Frisk have to try to help her through it, however it seems that the other two kids in the family might be in need of help too. This is the third book in the DETERMINATION series (probably the last). Please read the first book which is called Determination- An Undertale Fan-Fic and then the second book called Determination ~ Family before you read this as some things will not really make sense. I do NOT own Undertale but I do own this plot/story. Some of the characters are mine, I assume that you will know who is from the game and who is not.
