Becoming Alpha (Her sweet revenge)

Horror.
Betrayal.
Disappointment.
Fear.
Anger.
Humiliation.

She could never figure out which had struck her the hardest. Perhaps fear. Fear of him. Fear of the unknown. Fear of what he did. Fear of the consequences of what he did. Fear of not knowing what would happen next.

She'd dated him for six months. But she never knew him. Never learned he was dangerous. A hazard to her peaceful life. He bit her shoulder, scratched up the right side of her face, clawed her left breast and ripped her back to ribbons.

And then he left her to die.

But she didn't die. She woke several hours later in crippling pain. She blacked out again. When she woke two days later, she was consumed by anger. She found him. Asked him what he planned to do now that he knew she survived.

He rejected her. He. Rejected. Her.

She was the one who'd had her world turned upside down. She was the one tattooed head to toe in 'claiming marks'.

And he rejected her.

She'd never anticipated that her life would head in this direction, that she would be dealing with such a slippery slope. And yet here she was, heading down a roller coaster track with no seat belt or safety bars in place. A free fall from the top of the world.
And she. Was. Livid.

She wanted him to be in pain. She wanted him to be in her shoes. She wanted him to get down on his knees and beg her for forgiveness. She wanted him to become the lowest of the low so that she might be able to stomp him out once and for all.
But she was new to this game. New to this world. She needed to learn it's rules and meet its players.

And what better way to do that than join a school where all the misfits learnt about the game together.
