In an distopian world the world was overtaken by machines known as Raptures. The remains of the human race have retreated underground, forming the Ark with the adroids which they dubbed Nikke being their only hope. Nikkes were lead by human commanders, which happen to meet an untimely end most of the time. However, what would happen if a certain minus had ended up as an commander?

Really, of all the people to lead a squad of soldiers, you picked the weird magic slingling seventeen year old who just randomly showed up and destroyed a rather large amount of the genocidal robots that forced you all underground barehanded? However humanity views them as expendable tools that can easily be replaced despite all of them having human levels of thinking. The first the grandson of the company CEO that launched humanity's last functioning satellite and son of the Tetra Line CEO. The other a Commander who will go to great lengths to support his Nikkes while fighting on the surface. Utilizing the technology left behind by Kurenosuke Hiden, these two men will jump to the sky in hopes of reaching a better future for both Humans and Nikkes! The story is set on post-apocalyptic Earth. A hundred years ago, the "X virus" broke out. Transmitted through liquids and gases, it had an extremely high mortality rate and quickly infected nearly all life on Earth.
