After receiving a letter inviting him to attend Primas Academy, Daniel sets off after the promised opportunity to make better of himself. He meets others students who, like him, have mysteriously been chosen for the Hero Program, meant to teach virtue and strength to children exposed to magic. At first, he goes along with the system, his life taking a positive turn as he finds friends at the school. But as the year advances, he begins to doubt the program's motives, and he may find more than he bargained for.
