Y/N joined the Avengers because of her empath abilities and never really had a family until now. Sadly she gets captured by Hydra and they try some new experiments to get a new super soldier. No one besides Bucky knows best how it is to be in her situation yet her program turns out to be a bit different to his and new problems arise.

Y/n = your name; Y/L/N = your last name

Tw: abuse, trauma, suicidality

Note: I had started to edit the story since the way its written can be confusing, however I stopped because it feels wrong to change the work of an alter who wrote for the first time in a foreign language. If it's too confusing or hard to read you might consider our other books ("Y/n and the multiverse" or "The Winter Soldier and The Red Angel").

Y/N Y/LN has been part of the Avengers since the start, she's battled against Loki, Ultron and Hydra. Now the team is her family and everybody loves her. One day the whole team disappears for a mission, half of them come back the next day, two weeks later the rest of the team, minus one. No one wants to tell her what happened. Steve Rogers, her best friend, comes back three whole months later, with a new guy: Steve's childhood best friend Bucky. That's when she finds out that her family has been in a Civil War, all because of Bucky. Tony still can't see past the Winter Soldier, but Y/N can't help but see the broken man full of pain and empty of memories. - For the sake of my own sanity in this story Infinity War and Endgame do not happen. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. Scott also is an Avenger so let's pretend Cassie and her mother and the Pym family all live in New York :) - "You shouldn't be here..." he says quietly. He's still avoiding your question, so instead you ask "Why not?" "I could hurt you..." he says in a small, sad voice that breaks your heart. "Would you hurt me?" you ask. He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly. You give him a reassuring smile and say "Then I'm not worried." he finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile. - This was my first story so I'm sorry if the writing is not too good, I'll get better I promise. Also, English is my third language but I try my best, if you find mistakes feel free to point them out. - #38 in avengersfanfiction 01/08/2024 - I do not own any characters except for Y/N and any other character of my creation, all the rights belong to Marvel.

The Fluffy Adventures of Yelena and Bucky

37 parts Complete

That night he pressed a paper into her hands and told her to run, to burn the paper, to never stray from its words, had an impression on her life that she'd never really talked about. But it affected everything. "You're gonna run like hell when you get to out onto the street. Don't stop. Don't ever stop," Was it still worth it, curled up on the cement floor? Yes. Knowing that what you're doing is good doesn't ensure that it'll ever be easy. Bucky learned that many years ago in his childhood, and over again in World War Two. So why was the world still trying to teach him that, after everything he'd been through? Pain, pain, pain, for every choice you try to make yourself. Being yourself causes the pain... that was what Hydra taught him. What Hydra wanted him to believe. And he wished he didn't have to believe it, but it was true. Of course she didn't want to lie to him. He was like hope in the darkness, even when he was part of the darkness. Every time he went through shit, he inspired her. That night when he'd pressed a paper into her hands and told her to run, to burn the paper, to never stray from its words, had had an impression on her life that she'd never really talked about. But it affected everything. Cover by @planetaryfire (thanks so much!)
