It's 1991. Ten years ago in Madame Rosmerta's Pub, Lucy Dawson encountered a man she couldn't get off of her mind. He was an emotional mess....and drunk. This man confided in her the source of his misery: a woman he loved was dead. She didn't know it until later that night, but his name was Severus Snape.
The details of that night stayed with her for a decade, and when something happened to change her life, Lucy decided to find Severus, to get the full story of what happened to him that night. She writes him a letter and sends them by an owl named Lulu. He is surprised to receive it and they begin to write to each other regularly. Follow their correspondence as it blossoms from friendship to a little more and ultimately...to love.
But there is something standing in their way of being together. In this alternate Harry Potter universe, Death Eaters are still active, carrying on their master's wishes. And one of those wishes will affect Lucy. Maybe even permanently. Will Lucy and Severus conquer this obstacle? Or will something happen to one of them before they're able to? Read to find out...
