Marina is the most strangest girl in high school or so everyone thinks. Instead of partying with her peers and drinking she would study. She comes from a falling apart family they're poor, her mother is slowly dying from cardiac cancer while her father is drinking his life away. She used to work two jobs as she tried to balance her life something unexpected happens. A prestigious college gives her a 4 year scholarship, but she had to keep this a secret .Unfortunately her father would keep her if he finds out he'll keep her from going. As her life is taking a new form someone joins in, Toby ( short for Tobias ). He tries to "ruin her life " in many ways as they share a dorm. Everyone believes that she's lucky to have him as her roommate but she disagrees greatly. Toby is a wealthy man and a flirt which Marina hates . He dominates her college as every girl falls for him except her.
