A pale blue spirit has been pushed around the plains of Gensokyo since it's beginning.
Completely unnoticed by even those spiritually inclined, and without the strength to move, it was completely helpless.
Until it heard a mysterious voice, stating that it had gained the ability to join the living.
With it's new power, it steals the form of the ordinary witch, Marisa Kirisame.
However, a small timer begins to tick down, it has 72 hours to procure another form, or it's back to being a spirit.
Things get even stranger when they find out about their shared history with Hieda no Akyuu.
How long can the spirit survive this way?
How long can it evade the people who care for it's forms?

Final Flame
(It's been a while since I made a Touhou story... a really long time in fact.) Gensokyo, a land where the fantasy and the unknown is more than mere myths written on papers and spread by superstitious people. Inside, a completely different world exist, a world separated from our own by the great Hakurei Barrier. In it, youkais exist and live their lives while the few humans inside are grouped together, living in fear of the monsters roaming this land. This is how Gensokyo behaves; a stable "peace" maintained by people in charge of keeping this world of fantasy in its current state. With so many creatures with different mindsets and frightening powers, events called "incidents" are bound to occur. Thankfully, the shrine maiden attending to the barrier is quick to take action, even despite her annoyed groans. ...This is one of those many incidents that should have easily been taken care of. Yes, a winter overstaying its welcome seemed like an easy task to deal with. Yet, something went wrong. It was never solved. The endless snow continued to fall and no one could understand what caused this drastic change. The weather grew stronger and with it, its poison and true intentions finally emerged. Those exposed to the harsh environment soon began to suffer symptoms of a strange disease and fell into madness, attacking everyone in sight regardless of their nature. It was not uncommon to see Fairies attack and even devour each other for survival against the temperature. The threat Gensokyo was facing seemed relentless and nobody was safe from its effect; going outside with no protection was akin to signing your last will. Finally... the last straw that brought ruin to this world was the death of the shrine maiden. The strength of this eternal winter slipped past the breaking barrier and reached the Outside World, plunging the planet into chaos. The only hope the sane humans and youkais have is to find the source of this incident and put an end to it.Complete

A life known for dying, a death known for living {Mononoke}
[Under heavy revision and editing.] The Edo period of Japan, where the ancient rules apply in society. In such a society, roams a Kusuriuri, quite old at heart, but young in appearance. His only goal, his reason for existence, to slay the Mononokes haunting people. What happens when a young woman of age 20, gets sent to the past from the present era? Her eyes see the old man, and follow him. The solitary Kusuriuri gains a companion in his otherwise solitary life. However, this young lass of a child, seems to hold a number of secrets, her mind appearing seemingly unreachable, possibly holding a frightening amount of dark wisdom. Disclaimer: This fanfiction will contain dark topics and triggering themes. I do not own anything except the plot and the OCs. Everything else belong to their respective owners. Also, no romamce between Kusuriuri and the girl. It's going to be purely a father-daughter relationship between them. Six people, six locations, six accidents... Same place. After unexpected events occur, six people find themselves in the land only known as Gensokyo. Confussed and flabbergasted, they introduce each other before procceding... Until, the introductions split them into two groups. After the two groups can't seem to trust each other, they each walk in one direction, hoping for the best. Lost and yet to fully realize the dangers lurking in the forest they find themselves in, they continue to walk carefree. Who are those people? Well... There is a politician, who desires to achieve greatness. A priest, who has a questionable mindset and intends. A military engineer, who is mostly incompetent in the military part but capable in the engineering one. An avarage soldier, who is trying to play the big hero. A simple janitor, who just wants to get back home and last but not least, a man. A man, who did not mention anything about him. Curious. Just what will happen to them? Will they survive past the first day? Will they be able to find the Human Village and settle upon a new life? Or will some of them get power hungry ideas, which might as well cause a new incident like no other? Only time can tell... Note: This is my second story, I have no idea what I am doing and I can say for certain that I will most likely get the character personalities wrong at times.
