Loki faked his death and is pretending to be Odin, king of Asgard. Sigyn, a half-Asgardian, is working in the palace after losing everything. She discovers his identity. He knows hers. Danger forces them together, but their pasts may tear them apart.

This man- he couldn't be, could he? The long, wavy black hair. The ice-blue eyes staring down at her. The tall, slim frame. The fitted tunic of green cloth and leather. Before she could stop herself, she stammered:

"You-you're-"
