Before there was the story of Elizabeth Maryn, there were three sisters who put everything on the line for the goal of greatness.

In 1877 Salem, the three Baxtart sisters made the choice to bring magic out of the shadows of the United States. After the Industrial Revolution as the natural environment is left in shambles, Greta, Astrid, and Esther Baxtart unite in their desire to fix the world with magic.

However, as the first students of Baxtart's School for the Independent Wizard and Witch begin their lessons, eldest and middle sisters Greta and Astrid recognize a familiar face lingering around Esther who seems to disagree with the order of the school. 

Discover the transformation of this revolutionary establishment from a place of knowledge and magic into one of anger and violence, and see the haunting way that everything in the wizarding world is much more intertwined than ever thought.

Disclaimer: This book is a prequel to Turned - Tom Riddle. I wrote that fanfic when I was in middle school, and Ilvermorney did not exist yet, so I came up with my own school.
