You and your brother, Jayce, have been trying to create magic but, unfortunately, the place you both have been building machines and creations have been destroyed. Everything has been taken away and confiscated. Except for Jayce's books. Later then, you stayed at your mom's house while Jayce went to see the building and the broken pieces of his creations. Then, a man called Viktor showed up and chose to help him to make magic. They both became partners then soon enough, you three all became partners to help make the machine.
This scene will be included in the book.
