Colette Retherfod, aka Coco, is a nine year old who just moved to the suburbs with her uncle after parents were killed in a hotel room in Barcelona and nobody knows why.

At her new school, kids make fun of her, until she meets Justin Belinsky. A quiet and irritated boy who just wants to be left alone.
