Anna lived a lonely life. The only love she's ever known was the love from her three best friends, Mary, Albert and Erich.
As the children of some of the richest families in Germany and the few aristocratic families left in Germany after the fall of the Kaiser. Growing up in the 1930s. They live under constant stress to live up to their families expectations, they each carry scars with them, physical and mental since their earliest years.
What they don't know is that Anna has gone beyond than any of them could ever imagine, taking revenge on her family for what they did to her and the pain her family has inflicted on others. Becoming sick, Anna soon realises that she is running out of time to take her revenge before she passes away as well.
Beautiful and intelligent, Anna is often compared to a rose but in her mind she corrects it, calling herself a wilting rose as she herself is slowly fading away. She must come to terms with her pain and say goodbyes to the those that love her.
