Deku was on the verge of collapse. He was born quirkless and had no relatives or friends. His mother had died a few years ago and his friend Bakugo bullied him in school. He stood before his hero All Might as he heard him say that he would never be a hero without a quirk and those words pushed him to suicide. As he stood at the top of a building and was about to take his final step and join his mother in the afterlife ..... he found a new purpose.

Quirkless is a condition that is worse then hell. Izuku knew that one better than anyone else. Not only did he get a reality check about his dream but he also got a live long lesson from... well life. If it was going acording to Izuku then life could screw him over and go fuck itself in hell.
